The First Thunder Strike!

Welcome to Thunderheart Hats

Welcome all to Thunderheart Hats, and most importantly, welcome to those who look to let their thunder roar!

Being my first post, I felt I should introduce you to "Thunderheart 06" and who he is. Well, that is me, and I am me, so I am me and Thunderheart 06! Wow, sorta confusing, right? Well, right now, I am staying in the shadow of the thundercloud and letting the Hats and everything else shine in and of itself. But it's a wild ride from where I started to where I have come.

It started with a Hat, and I get "Why a hat?" all the time. My answer usually is, why not? lol. To some, it's just a piece of felt or fur; to others, it's a badge earned from hard work. To me, it's all of that and in between.

My grandfather wore a Hat until the day he died, and my mother still has one of his originals. My father was Cavalry when he started his career in the U.S. Army. For me, the Hat allowed me to carry all of them with me.

Further diving into it, my Grandfather, Grandmother, Mother, and my Mom's side of the family are from Texas. Time does a number on us all, and those who you hold dear are often gone, but yet you still hold a memory or a sight that brings you to fond times.

That is where the Hat comes in for me. My Mother and Father have Hats, and I know one day I'll inherit theirs as well, but they are with me everywhere I go when I wear it. That's a long Thunder Strike!

Generations of Military, Ranchers, Farmers, Lawmen, Outlaws, and all of it in between. Just a long Roar of my family and me on this land and how we move in it.

This is all a long-winded way to say, I hope you let your own thunder roar. Whether it is with a full shaped Felt or Straw, or even a T-Shirt, we're all roaring together.

So stay safe out there wherever you are, have long and happy days, and most importantly, Ride with the Lightning in everything you do and let that Thunder Roar!

Thunderheart 06

P.S. “What is 06?”

Well, the easiest answer is that 06 is the Commander in military radio designations. I am the owner, the main shaper, the oil changer, and even, to some extent, the mail guy. 😂

But at the end of the day, I take ownership, and I own what being Thunderheart is.
