Well the Labor day weekend has come and passed, ushering in one of the most hotly debated subjects in western wear. To straw or not to straw? That is indeed the question! Most folks understand that after Labor day, the transition to Felt hats are in full swing, but some still wear straw. Regionally some may wear straw past Labor day due to heat, some may wear straw year round! What should you do? Wear what is comfortable, if its 30 below, I most likely will not be wearing a straw. But if your comfortable in that, let it rip!
